If you play like I described - bunny hopping everywhere, dropping shields for insta kills way faster than you every should be able to, then no - you are simply exploiting something and using the gun in a way it was not made to be used.

i think I have about 4,000 kills. I do not see a 10k trophy in my future.

I got it on my second tour of duty. I was glad to get it as it was the only one I hadn't in the game.

Back then the carbine was the most used weapon as you used to be able to do the double melee glitch against any wraith users, basically back when R2 was good. I finished back after the 50k gamebattle tournament and went to Red Faction. I just played waaay too much when I actually did play.

There's no way that I could still be playing now like some the of the guys who I used to play with, the wraith screwed up that game and made it unplayable, I was proud to always have my wraith kills less than 10% of my total kills.

Thats some trueness. Once it was discovered that the bunny hop wraith instakill/shield drop combo was stupid overpowered the game was ruined. All balance was lost.

Before that I was proud of my non-quit stat. Even when I lost, I still stuck it out because the other guy was able to kill faster than me. Legitimately.

As it was abused more and more I simply would not tolerate losing to someone who had to be cheap to win and left ranked games. I have no problem losing a game. Redhamusla can attest to that. He beat me straight up multiple times. Thats how I got to know the guy. I'm a Carb only type guy. I'll be happy to pick up a Marksman or another gun on the fly if needed. But I won't accept being beaten by cheap tactics that require less skill than being able to aim straight during a 1 on 1.

I have scalding responses to many posts @ the old school myresistance.net forums about the wraith whoreness and even the old school rossmore/magnum glitch/kill.

Players that rely on tricks to get by and get their kills = no respect IMO.

Play straight up. Use the guns as they were meant to be used and if you beat me with it, you will get my grudging respect. Thats what RedhamUsla did. I was SO mad at him because I don't like losing. It was funny how we had a bunch of hate/challenge messages going back and forth for a bit. And we randomly met up in DM's on a regular basis. When I saw him I knew it was going to be an intense death match. It was intense....and fun. When I got a win or two....man did it feel good. And I'm sure he loved it as much as I did. Do otherwise than play with some sort of honor or respect for your opponents, and I will have nothing but annoyance and intolerance for you because of the way you play = your character. If you have to glitch or use cheap tactics to win than you don't deserve my time, or respect. Period. You get SO MUCH MORE satisfaction by beating the whole field with legitimate skill and tactics than by cheating.

So blah to all that cheap tactic stuff.

I hope R3 goes off without a hitch. And that Incomniac supports the online community as well as Naught Dog Supported the Uncharted 2 community over the course of UC 2 multiplayer.

i tried the jump thing but it didn't seem to work or im doing it wrong lol
i was going around 35-3 without jumping

Jump glitch lets you start spinning the barrel before your shield comes down. So you jump and aim at them and then your shield comes down right as you start shooting instead of when you're just aiming.
