Street, as I already mentioned, and I know its not much of a comfort;
When I started playing with the aX!s clan I was so nervous.
I even remember the game - at the museum with Leo.

I had seen a vid of Leo playing at the Lost City and so I really looked up to him and wanted to be just as good.

So what did I do?
I followed his english scones-and-tea butt all around that map and tried to learn how he moved, took cover, drank tea, shot guys & drank some more tea and finally teabagging the tea.

What I'm trying to say is that if you're feeling a bit insecure as to where to go and how to react in certain scenarios, you can always follow a more experienced player and try to pick up pieces of his style and add it into your style.
Besides, you'll provide with a good amount of help in any gunfight.


It really helped me, I just prefered to stay at the back with Endlo at the beginning and picked off people from a somewhat more safe zone and now it's mostly how I will play.
But also, over the time, I have learned where the high-traffic areas are, where people usually will camp etc.
Those things comes with experience.

Just keep at it and don't forget to have fun, its not all about winning.
Hell, I'd much more like a game where we get hammered but had a few good laughs and epic moments rather than handing out a beating but being far too serious.

We'll do all we can, to teach you, and to watch your back, but at the same time, babysitting you while you chill inside the spawn area, is detrimental. I understand that you want to do well, and nobody likes dying, but there's a necessity there, in order to develop, and to improve. You've got to run into those situations, and have those experiences, otherwise you'll have no pool of knowledge, and instinct to draw upon later. We're here to soften the blow as much as we can, and to show you the tips and tricks we've learned along the way, but we can't do everything, and we can't build upon something that won't hold, either.

Why is noone online and tearing it up with me, I'm even on my Reo account.

I missed playing with BoH's so I thought I'd try a few laggy games, just for the heck of it.

Glassjaw + Half Loaded = disaster in 1st game.
I noticed how I've gone back to steelfisting again and that my aim was sloppy. Yup, I went negative in this one.

As I continued playing, my game got better and I got my 13-2, 9-2 etc.

The good thing?
I was actually running n gunning instead of camping like I normally do.
My movement actually surprised me, I dont know how to explain it, but I felt "faster".

I never ran in a straight line for too long, avoided too open areas, always moved randomly when engaged in a gun fight, bunny hopping and rolling to confuse the enemy.
My usage of cover was A-game this night.

Now if I can only keep this style up.
I got some sweet kills too, my favorite of the night being a BBQ followed by a nade kill, followed by another nade kill, all resulting in one sweet triple medal.

I know the feeling, Reo. I was talking to Vash about it, the night I went back to Endlo, and was using Glass-Jaw and Half-Loaded, and how well I was doing.

I think the fact that you have two negatives on, and that you're aware of being so...limited, changes up how you look at things. I need to work on playing more intelligently, I've been getting kind of sloppy lately, and making poor decisions, again. Glass/Half helps reign that in, because I have to think quickly, about if I want to pursue an encounter, or let it go, and how I can maximize my advantage, to compensate.

Totally gonna rock Invalid/CGS. I can't imagine the nightmare that playing that set-up would be, and I've only seen one person able to consistently pull it off, and do well. I can't even begin to understand how, even after watching the cinemas, though. I can't imagine how tight your play would have to end up, though, if you were to consistently play with that set-up.

I think that I need to change my mentality alot, instead of being a kill hunter, I'm gonna make the other team sure as hell hunt for theirs and then take advantage of their mistakes.

Thats what I do when I use BoH's, thats what I should do all the time. It's gonna take some time getting back to a consistent running style, especially now that I've gone mad for the idea to rock the FAL as a running gun.

It just feels so satisfying to beat an AK user with DTI using the FAL, and I think that if I can get a solid FAL in a more running playstyle, my aim will be so good when I go back to using other weapons.

I'm getting kinda burnt out of this game. We were playing against low levels on Endlo- and I was doing fine. Everyone else was having a great time, laughing, getting awesome scores. I just wasn't having fun. I should have been. I want to take a break, but I am not really interested in my other games. I guess I'll just do a bunch of card tricks, and try out CC demo.

Charlitos, I hear you. I get that very same feeling every now and then, mostly it's because I feel as if I'm not improving or if its too much bull in this game.

You should try CC for sure, it's an awesome game.

man guys i havent played uc2 in 2 weeks every time im off work my damn internet is out this week on my day off some retard had shot the cable with a shotgun so my net was out. last week they had to put some new lines...and i dont get the weekend off this week...work sucks...but next week i get 3 days off i think, so i might be able to get some games in (damn i miss you guys )
