You'd be surprised how many people don't know how to use 'em. Shotty mains like myself definitely had an advantage in that lab.

Any tips for using the shotty?

Normally? The biggest thing is to remember that while shotty is great at close range, don't take great pains to get close range if it means tailing someone halfway across the map. Pull out your sidearm and shoot them in the back before someone does the same to you - the longer you stalk someone, the greater the odds someone will see you and end you, sharpish-like.

In the shotty-only Lab, don't be afraid to aim. If you know someone is coming around a corner or climbing over a ledge, take a moment to aim rather than leaving yourself at the mercy of the shotty's notoriously finicky auto-aim. Aiming can and will stop people dead in their tracks. Especially if they're running Invalid (which they often are in shotty-only matches); that means you can cross-map them at little-to-no risk to you. Combine aiming with good awareness and you'll really catch people off-guard.

I've never been too good with the shotty myself. But very good tips, Turtle. When I take the shotty in a regular match, I have my sidearm out at all times unless I find myself in a situation where my opponent will try to use the over powered mellee. I loved the shotty lab, my favourite in fact, and am excited to be playing this again

my tips for the shotty are pretty much the same as turtle...except for when you know youre going around a corner of a high traffic area keep your shotty out but when you know youre going to be in a little more open areas keep your pistol out

Uh....most likely won't be able to get on this week . My friend Justin won't be at home most likely, and my other friend's mom is getting married. I was reallly hoping to be able to do this lab, but like everything else that I want, it turns to crap and doesn't happen

Sence the best of labs playlist is coming soon. I found in the shotty lab that if you swerve your caricter with the shotgun while you run,you almost never get hit if your on the left side of the other player.

also aiming with the pistole can get you some kills from 10-20ft away

Appearanly aiming pistole+Sure Shot+Scoped in= huge range, never tested this though.

Other labs too, though. I never got a chance to try out pistols only plunder, so I'm excited for that. I expect a double cash weekend soon, and I expect a final update soon though. Some days ago I played this clan with italians who abused the low level leader glitch.
After they won they talked SO major trash it was disgusting.

Today, I met them again, this time with 3 of my friends

Got a fury, a triple with the AK and just went all beast on them

Finished 16-4 - payback is sweet!

EDIT: Checked it, although the cinema gets cut just before we win (since the goal got set for 40 kills) I think the most got caught in the cinema. Leo, if I send it, do you think you could upload it?

According to my calculations If you wear invalid/ come get some (recomended in shotty lab) and score 20 kills, you'll earn $1,250,000 from badges only. I would think that you'd get at least 50 thousand to 75 thousand off of kills and medals. So... WOW. Nuff said.

no, that doesn't effect range at all, i've tried it.
