Mitchell, you would be best asking these questions in the Dr Newbie thread. If possible, post some footage of your gameplay as that gives the experts a much better idea of what you're doing.

Going prone while shooting, or 'drop-shotting' as it's called doesn't seem to work too well in BloPs for some reason, it appears to take a little too long to get in position. I've had reasonable success with just crouching as it's almost instant and throws off your opponents aim whilst keeping yours trained on their body... Recoil helping out too.

My problem with laying on the ground/going prone is that I always seem to move at the wrong moment. When you move your guy stands up a little exposing more of you than you want, which usually results in taking way to much damage and/or getting killed. I generally dont use it unless im attempting to snipe.

I tried the Barebones Pure. Wow, apart from the quick kills, it was a lot like R:FoM. Also, I don't know if it's because I'm used to the iron sights anyway, preferring extended mags or suppressors, but it seemed most people couldn't aim in those games. Consequently, I came top in the first game and in the few I played my KD was never below 2.0. I think I'll try some more of them. Oh, and they seemed a LOT LESS laggy than regular TDM. I tried a regular TDM in the middle and the lag was terrible.

Likely prepping for the ToS change. Be over by tomorrow, I'd bet, if not sooner. Definitely GGs today. Hit my personal TDM best of 37-1, followed up by 25-0. That said, I feel bad because the chopper gunner seems so overpowered. At least 11 of the kills in the 37-1 game came from it. Now, as I learned the other day, it can be pretty useless if a majority of the enemy is using Ghost Pro as you can only see one or two people. But on some maps where you most often spawn out in the open and far from cover... They could probably help this a bit by cutting down launcher lock-on times. Takes so long to shoulder and lock on that often times you'll just get mowed down long before you can fire if you get caught in a spawn kill loop. On a different note, I think it's great that when you run out of ammo you automatically switch to your secondary weapon...Except that I use the Strela. Not very useful in the middle of a shootout, especially since you can't knife while its being readied. I'd kinda like it if that was an option you could set, or if it would simply ignore the Strela. Might as well wish for wings though.

I still cant decide if a good connection or a bad connection is an advantage or a disadvantage. For me host seems to be a blessing sometimes and at other times a curse.

In my experience, 3 bars is just about ideal. One bar is unplayable. Two is playable, but not fun. At four bars I start getting stabbed in the back by people who are in front of me. None of that happens on 3 bars.

Gunning for gold weapons Wadey ? Made it to round 18 on Ascension with my friend . We were all set up , my friend had a pack'punched HK21 and a ray gun and gersch devices while I had a pack'punched thunder gun and a ray gun . We both had Jugganog and PHD Flopper . We could of gotten very far , we had a good stray also . Yet unfortunately the game disconnected us for no reason despite both of us having 4 bar connections. Twas very annoying !!!

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.... *** does happy dance ***My M16 with ACOG just got me my first set of earned dogs on WDM. Yes, that's right, I finally managed an 11-kill streak. Ended up 22-4. KS rewards: spy plane, Blackbird (that WAS useful) and Dogs. I know some people routinely get 11 kill streaks, but for me that's a big deal.
