Thanks, clearly Rhyn0x and I have been having the same problem. Will you guys be up for some games on say friday or saturday night? I'm thinking about taking a break from studying on those days (or at least those nights) because I have an exam on thursday and an exam on friday and want to give my brain a bit of a break before I start to cram for my last 3 finals.

I've been on pretty much every day/night for the last week.
My brother recently started playing and in 3 days he's already lvl 12
Bloody took me months to get there because early on with the Mac client it was so buggy and crashed all the time, now there's a legit dedicated client and it doesn't crash as much so yay!

My brother got Draven recently and I got Darius, so we go as the brother duo in game, both on bottom, He whacks em from a distance then I pull them in and land my passive stack, and then whoever finished them off get it, doesn't matter who gets the kill cuz the other will get the assist anyways.

i have the Soul Reaver Draven skin and the Lord Darius.
I'm saving up my IP for Nami.
and recently have been playing as Kayle for support because.. oh my god.. she's so amazing once you get her build

Also been experimenting with different builds with Darius and Draven...
People have been saying that Draven doesn't use a Frozen Mallet but I find it extremely useful, pair it with a Black Cleaver and you got pretty much the same amount of health you would get with a Warmogs Armor. except you get the extra damage and passives from the items

With Darius I don't bother with a Bloodthirster because of his passive.. but if I'm going against really tanky enemies I grab one and oh my god... Pentakills everywhere

I haven't been on much this weekend due to working grave shifts.

I never see anyone online, and I don't have say, I mean Kaiser on my list.

How is the lag palying with Aus/NA anyway?

I personally love the speed/crit/damage build, I can kill/own so fast, but I get a lot of flack because you're "supposed" to build him kind of tanky.

Do what you want and what makes you happy, it's your game and your time, that's how I see it.

I don't care what build you go after, I usually play blind pick/bots so its the matches where you experiment with builds but once I get to ranked, if you're experimenting with a build I'm going to be PISSED at you.

Edit: Just played a game today where the Diana on the other team was talking tough the entire game with little production to show for it and kept asking me if I was afraid whenever she came by, even though 3 of the 4 times I saw here the entire game was when she had 2-3 teammates with her, sorry but I'm not fighting that battle. The only time I saw her alone was when she tried to jump my Teemo teammate and I by a tower and she obviously lost and then she started to bash us for needing 2 of us to kill her even though she initiated the combat and when I told her that she asked if I was afraid, people like that just make me roll my eyes.

I love when people do that (sarcasm). My reply is usually "it's a TEAM GAME, and we are playing as a team!"

Oh I hear ya, played a game tonight with a Garen who was refusing to fight during big fights, claiming that there were "4 enemies," there were three of us there, we could've gotten one or two of them down before they got us and we could've gotten the rest down to low enough health that someone could've easily come in and ganked them, some people in this game are complete idiots. Saw Jolly online again today, in the middle of a match, I have to admit, I'm seeing Jolly in the middle of a match so often I'm debating just giving both of you guys my number and telling you guys to text me when you are getting on.

I play almost daily. Starting messing around with Thresh today. It was a lot of fun!

I see "Jolly Whiskers" on at times, but always about 10 - 20 minutes in... to soon to wait for it to finish.

Played this weekend with a few buddies on twisted tree line , it was the first time I have played in close to 5 months I picked nasus and so did some one else on the opposite team.

at first it was fun and there where a few good exchanges in team fights and then I got ganked by the whole team and the other nasus goes bro you shouldn't have picked nasus you can't beat me with nasus .........etc etc my next attack will do 1k etcetc .

to make a long story short we ended up acing them late game and won , we where then proceeded to get the sore loser treatment , you guys suck we let you win get some skills noobs omg look at you kdr , I laughed at that last one and just told them this isn't call of duty . But yeah I remember why I stopped playing , people are dicks

Cool, I might not be on much this weekend because I have plans, but I'll try and get on it at least once or twice.

Honestly I have no intention of getting into PVP anytime soon. The community is awful apparently, and I've still yet to find a champion I can do well with.

So far I like playing Fiora, (who's free this week) but I'm still trying to get to learn the character and make proper builds. I've got Annie and Ashe unlocked, and played a few games with both of those two. I still have no idea how to properly build, or play them so I guess I've got a lot to learn. This game does seem really overwhelming to new players because there's so much to take into account. I've been having friends help me along the way, but I'm still having trouble and dying all the time. Maybe it's my lack of knowledge about builds, or play style, but hopefully I'll be able to overcome this. Just learning by watching videos on youtube doesn't work for me, I wish it did lol.

What's a good way to rack up a decent amount of IP to unlock Champions? All the ones I'm interested in trying out are like 6,000 IP.

there are a lot of great websites you can go to that will have user builds and explinations and tactics on how to use champs. I'll have to get the link of he one I used to go to, it had a ton of great content . No worries about this weekend the last of us is coming out so I will be a bit pre occupied lol. As for ip I'm not to sure, I know you can get ip boost pretty cheap and every day you get a first win of the day boost but other than that i don't think there are any other ways , also I would recomend waiting to buy runes until you can get tier 3 runes .

I've been told not to worry about Runes till I get to Lv 30 so I haven't bothered to unlock any. I might end up going to like GameStop and getting one of those prepaid RP cards so I can unlock a few Champs without needing to save up 6,000 IP.

Yeah, don't worry about runes until you are 30 as the best runes aren't available until then, and yes, save your IP for buying runes since that is the only way you can pay for runes. IP builds quite quick, you get some as long as you finish a game; win or lose. As was stated, you get bonus IP for your first win of the day, and more IP for a win over a loss. An honor points also go toward bonus IP gained. That being said, the best way to gain IP is to play games.

Did you do the tutorial? When you first get a new champ, play in offline mode to test them out. Play agains 1 easy bot, so you can get a feel for the abilities, itemization, and give yourself time to to read tool tips, etc.
As Jaded said, there are lots of great websites that give you builds, etc.
As for in game itemization, the recommended tab at the shop is your friend... buy boots early!

Thanks for that info Rhynox. Mobafire is what I was suggested to research for builds. Ontario is in the same time zone as me I believe (I'm in Massachusetts, therefore EST) so I don't think gaming with you would be a problem. I'll look for a request as soon as I get online with League.

Yeah, Ontario is EST, or EDT at this time of year, heh.

My problem is I work in a casino, casino hours are odd, plus twins at home. Hopefully we can figure something out, even if we have to plan ahead with this thread Hey, wait! There's an idea, we can all try to set up a time... sometime lol

Its been so damn long since I played this game, might get back into it but it could be interesting, I probably forgot all of my builds, well that is what for going up against bots is for.
