I think I'll just splash out on a new slim model. Activision obviously have no interest in fixing the problem. My son can have the fatty.

Hmm, only cheaper if I don't have problems with the disc, and I suspect that I would.

From what I've been able to find out, seems to be a problem with the original 'fat' (CECHCxx here in the UK) models. Something in the BO2 code is triggering this problem and shutting down the console. I haven't found any official recognition of the problem from Activision, Treyarch or Sony so doesn't look as if it is going away.

So, I've ordered my a nice new limited edition azurite blue super slim 500GB PS3. Slightly smaller HDD than my current 640GB but I guess I'll cope ;-)

I get to play Black Ops 2 without it shutting down every other game. My eldest son gets a PS3 in his room to replace the broken PS2 so he'll be happy. I'll see if I can get the PS2 repaired for my other son and I'll be the best Dad in the world! Everybody wins!

Shrug Maybe I'm just unlucky then.

I had a 60GB fatty on launch day too which went bye-byes with YLOD just out of warranty. Sony kindly replaced it anyway with another of the same model. This had a YLOD last year but I had it re-balled and has been working a lot better since. Less noisy and not getting so hot. I put a 640GB HDD in there a couple of years ago.

ETW, has yours ever been repaired or modified? Just wonder if that is a factor.

there are too many twelvies in gaming today, the Alliance in World of Warcraft has always been notorious for having too many of them, one reason why I enjoyed rolling Horde, about 85% of them were actually mature.

My top 10 guns:

1. AN-94 2355 kills
2. Type 25 1918 kills
3. M8A1 1834 kills
4. SMR 1687 kills
5. SWAT-556 1673 kills
6. M27 1430 kills
7. FAL DSW 1231 kills
8. MTAR 1200 kills
9. SCAR-H 1192 kills
10. MP7 991 kills

The only thing that has happened to mine was the BluRay laser unit failed. I bought a new laser assembly from Ebay and swapped it out myself.

PostSubject: Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2   Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Page 33 EmptyFri Mar 22, 2013 1:48 am

I vary mine at the moment. Sometimes I rock a class that has a XPR-50 on it, other times I rock the S12 to level/camo it up, and other times I use a class that has an AN-94 and R87 on it, to get a few calling cards. I usually change what class I use from game to game or based upon how the match is going, if I'm not doing well on my S12 class I'll switch to another one of if I see that there are a lot of enemy snipers I'll switch to either my Ballista class or my XPR-50 class. Its tough for me to give you any suggestions on what to do with your classes because I don't know how you play the game. I usually rock the Ghost, Fast Hands, and Quick Silence perks but for some people those aren't good for them, some people like to have Blind Eye, Flack Jacket, Cold Blooded, Awareness, or w/e perk they have on. Also, guns are a big factor to your perks. For instance, I usually use Toughness, Lightweight, Ghost/Flack Jacket, Dead Silence, and Extreme Conditioning on my shotgun classes (I'll substitute Extreme Conditioning for Dexterity on a class that I use the KSG on it). I personally prefer Assault Rifles to any other weapon type in the game but you might not, what weapon class is your favorite?, that would be a good start for tips. Also, are you a camper, a flanker, or a run and gunner kind of player? That is another key factor.

I have the season pass, something tells me that it will prove to be worth it in the long run. Got the gold knife a couple of days ago, now I can use my 10th class for something other than knifing.

These zombies maps are looking very tempting, if only there was a zombies season pass Razz . They seem to be exactly what I want, no stupid buses, annoying fire all over the ground and small maps. These new maps are like what Black Ops 1 had (which I loved), one huge map with tons of secrets, doors to open and cool wonder weapons.
