Yeah 70's porn if that's the music that was was playing More specifically " Summer Camp Sluts " circa 1978. Anyways will this new update make me want to play Destiny ? Will I be able to level up without doing the same old shit over and over ? Supposedly there will be a new loot system ?? |

Ummm not sure which one. I was reading that Crota was easy to put down solo before one of the patches came out.

Ah, one of the first patches after The Dark Below. It wasn't that Crota was easier. It's that people could manipulate their connections. See, the group would drop him to kneel, then someone would quit out. This caused him to never leave his kneeling position. It was a glitch that people heavily abused. Definitely not what happened here. It's just a guy using two Gally rockets per kneel.

Hey Im down for Skolas when evs. I need that etheric light!!!! And as much of it as I can get. (Kind of a problem when you have more guns and armor than a vault can hold. ) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The game has come a ways I think. There are so many ways to level up now its very easy to break the boredom cycle. Patrols, Strikes, Raids, Story, all the different modes in the Crucible, The wave mode of Prison of Elders. I cant think of any other game that offers so many different ways to play. Im sure you could find something to hold your interest. And you can gain xp doing any of it. Besides, it would be neat to hang once in a while.

Ah I see Monkey. You can get 2 lots of light in the iron banner, level 3 and 5, 5 being the max level you can get to.

Gonna guess you meant to say "Motes" and that you really meant to say "Etheric Light". lol [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]You'll quickly note that Titans once again get the short end of the stick. "Oh, a Warlock perk that not even Warlocks use? Gee, thanks." Well, it's not like these are the only exotics that will be in it. Sixer, the level system is actually undergoing a change. Level is now like it was pre-20. You'll level all the way up to 40 using Exp., which you get from kills, bounties, etc. Anything that doesn't give EXP (like PoE) won't help for leveling. I'll probably be on around 7 or so.

GGs tonight, guys. Frustrating as it was to get that close and have to give up because there's no Skolas checkpoint, it was still a load off of my shoulders for a while. Really appreciate it.

Double post FTW! Spunks, want to give it another go, tonight? We have a dinner date with Six's brother, Jay between 5/5:30 so it might be a little later than Buggy time before we can get on, but I'm down if you are.

Just bring him along. Won't watching you guys in your moment of triumph be dinner date enough? Really though, it took us from about 7-11 to get that far. If we start any later, it would probably just end with us getting there and only having time for one or two attempts, and I highly suspect we would need more than that. Our best was getting him to half and then it was all over. How about instead we can run some Iron Banner tonight and maybe try to take him out tomorrow and/or Saturday instead? It'll give me time to read up on the mechanics some more and try to find some tips that might help us.

Yeahhhhh that's what I was thinking too. It took us a while last night. And I would bring Jay along, except it's at his house and his Mom and other brother is coming too.. And playing Destiny while having family time is... considered... rude. Right? So... Friday evenings are a little busy. And the kiddos will be here at 4:00 so... Let's shoot for Saturday? I believe Six is supposed to work but not as long as usual. I could make sure the kids get their time with the ps3 while he's at work... ... Get all the house work done... ... Get dinner out of the way.... ... Find something to keep the Bugster busy... and then meet up with you early evening.. I really want to get this out of the way. VoG and Crota as well. Time is running out on us.

Why is it that people can shoot me from the other side of the map with a bloody shotgun, but mine doesn't even touch them even when it seems we are eyeball to eyeball.

So Saturday it is ? Okay. But... I'm sure we can shave off time. Especially now that we have a better idea what we are in for. I save all my complaints and hate for hand canons. Out do a shotty close range and a sniper long... .makes no sense to me. Oh and lag. I hate lag too. And allergies. I really hate my allergies right now. Oh..oh...and also those tiny little corners you have to pull on to open your Benadryl tablet. I really hate those.

It's only a select few Hand Canons that are a problem. Thorn, Hawkmoon, and the Lag Last Word. Regardless, the weapon class in general is getting a nerf to range and clip size to balance them out a bit. Auto-Rifles are getting buffed again, so I'm sure you'll be sick of Suros Regime before you know it. lol
