Porky is wanting to complete the Triumphs as well. It's hard to get all of us on at one time because of time zones. So here's what I was thinking... Saturday, you, Six and Porky run the PoE 35.. That way we know for a fact she has the teammates to get that done. .. Then you guys run with me. Meaning two runs for you sweet and loving, not to mention handsome guys .. That way all of us have had the chance to get it done... Maybe Evey will be back soon so we can all get the raids done as well.

And yes.. if not then meh.. But let's give it a fair shot. For everyone.

Remember, we have (counting today) nine days to finish those off. So, it's basically next week or never.
Also, the update hits on September 8. That's a week before the TK release, so make sure you've cleared your space by then.

Also, I couldn't sleep last night, so I solo'd us up to Crota. So, that's there if we want it.

Not your fault in the least, Sixer. My internet went down. It looked for all the world like I had just taken off. You made the right call. This is Bungie's fault for not including checkpoints. No one else's.

It's true we've gained experience and we'll be able to take others though it in the future. But unfortunately, PoE won't be updated going forward. There will be no actual reason to play it as it won't be getting you gear that's worth anything.

So, I asked around for advice, and apparently we need a hunter to down Crota.

it is as simple as the following, when you go invis, and jump up on the platform, you cannot swing or dash over to crota. You have to run and then you can start hitting him once he is down. By swinging or dashing with the sword before you get next to him you risk getting he boomer aggro. Again, over MANY runs as a hunter, I would crouch, go invis, call for rockets while jumping up and srint over and start mashing RT. GG, Sixer. Our new friend said messaged me and said GGs too. "Sorry we couldn't grab a win. But you guys were awesome." Nice guy girl Hunter.
We'll get a win yet. It'd be great if we could get it by the deadline (2:30 am next Monday, I think.), but I'm not going to sweat it if we don't.

Also, earlier today I worked my way up though Crota. Got a connection error at the Thrall/Shrieker hallway and was booted though. Still, that's the lion's share of the raid out of the way if we wanna make another go on that.

Anyone else off for Labor Day on Monday? It'd be a great last-ditch chance to get those Triumphs done.

Yeah it's all better now..I have my gaming hand back, obviously.

With the extra time, I may try to power level my Hunter. I won't have exotics to keep pace, but it might be enough.
Anyone wants to run high level content (strikes, daily, etc.) with a low level Hunter handicap, I'm up for it.

VoG on hard and Crota on hard is all I have left. Same for the Sixer.

My and Sixer's friend from the other night is also interested in running Crota as our swordbearer, but wants to finish off Skolas themselves since it's their last MoT. I've volunteered to help today if needed.

Well.....its definitely NOT eve.

We have Crota and VoG on hard to get, and hopefully get Crota today before monkey loses his progress tomorrow. I was hoping to have all this wrapped by now.

Glad you'll be on, Eve. We'll need all we can get for Crota. You'll likely be our swordbearer. Another Hunter will probably be along too, but they don't have a functional mic.
The key to that role is Bladedancer with Stalker, Escape Artist, and Shadowjack.
The idea is that you get the sword and head to that rock on the right. Call for Rockets and crouch to go invisible (Stalker) while we put Crota down. Then jump up to attack Crota 2-3 times depending on how long it took you to get to him. DO NOT swing the sword until you get to Crota, or else the Boomers will tear you to pieces.
When Crota gets back up, drop the sword and Blink Strike him to turn invisible again (Escape Artist) and back off. If there's time we drop him again and you get in more attacks, if not, you retreat until another swordbearer comes out and Crota goes back to the middle. After the first drop he moves to the side. Wait for him to move back, grab a sword, and repeat.
Should drop in no time.

Meanwhile, Six will be running Defender. His job will be to play it safe with the Boomers by dropping a bubble on that forward circular area and jumping up and down out of it a little. If for whatever reason your invisibility fails, then you can still be safe due to this distraction.

The rest of us will stay on the ledge. From here we will A) drop Crota with Gally rounds, and B) assist by shooting the Swordbearer.
We will also use our Supers to kill the yellow bar Knights in the Crystal room. That way Six can refill his Super for the distraction after Crota goes back to the middle.

Lastly, if you have any gear that grants life regen by picking up orbs, that'll be the gear to wear.

yeah that tactic is like the only one that works against crota. i'll be on in a bit i just have to get some things ready for school tomorrow! give me about an hour or so
