I wont complain simply because, as I said before, I love to play RPGs on my handheld. I dont get to play my PS3 as much these days, so Ill take what I can get on my 3DS. Besides, I believe Etrian has always been on the handheld. From what Ive read, it's a very unforgiving game apparently. Lots of grinding. o.o

Either way, Im still psyched about Fire Emblem: Awakening. Ill finally have a reason to put down Tales of the Abyss. xD!

Oh lord. Just made it to max HP for Luke on Tales of the Abyss. It came when I hit Lv 129. Im assuming max TP will hit soon too. After that, it's just a long battle until Lv 200. @_@

I hate grinding.

Well, thankfully I had x10 experience (I bought that at the end game shop last playthrough). I finished the game at Lv 161. Both HP and TP were fully maxed for Luke, and he was essentially an unstoppable warrior. Going to start my next playthrough fairly soon. I have all the bonuses bought now, so I plan to start Unknown difficulty (Hardest mode). Besides, it'll be fun fighting the optional super hard boss on that.

Knowing your love of challenge I'm surprised you didn't try to take in on with a fresh character.

Well, when you restart, itll resets your level back to 2, so that's pretty fresh yeah?

Speaking of challenge...the first boss is an absolute war of attrition. She has 35,700 health...and each of my attacks deals a gentleman's 1 damage. Apparently Jade doesn't show up until halfway through the battle...I still have another 14k hits to go before that happens.

Yeah, Im switching to Very Hard after this. I love me a good challenge, but I don't want to fight a boss for 3-4 hours. xD

EDIT:
I gave up and died. It took well over an hour to deal 5k damage, and I honestly don't have the patience to spend another several hours on that. Im now on Very Hard, which is a lot more entertaining.

Yikes. That just sounds like a pain in the neck.

Understatement of the century right there. Ill continue enjoying my game by not making it a battle of attrition.
