None really It is up to you (the members), it is there as an option but we have not encouraged its use because we believe it is better to have spam and conversations in threads. Whatever is said in the chat is lost, so not really the best thing for a forum based community. Now, if you need to communicate whilst playing, for example, it might be easier to do it here than in the Playstation chatbox, if you have your computer nearby. But how you use it and for what, is your choice.
