Soooo, Borderlands? It is very wastelandy, and if you squint at it, New Haven looks an awful lot like the capital building.

I love Fallout, but I'm always so lonely when I play because I'm always by myself. (I don't like companions: they always get in the way) I think thats why Borderlands might appeal to me. I like the co-op aspect of it. Perhaps when my game data is all erased, I will move on

I just blasted my way through 3 of the Fallout 3 DLC packs the last few days. I'm currently downloading Mothership Zeta, and after that, the only one left is Point Lookout (which I'm reluctant to buy, since it looks very VERY strange ). I've forgotten about my love for this game Oh, and my Level 30 Good character rocks a mean Guass Rifle BOOM BOOM dead

Kicked a few things off my to do list on the game. It still froze. How frustrating. Oh, well... I still love this game!!!

Finally getting to play through again, myself. Haven't started the DLCs yet, though. Probably get to level 20 before I do so that I can get the other four trophies I need. (The ones for reaching certain levels with certain karma.) It's frozen on me once too. Remember, loot everything off the bodies that you can, then repair and sell to reduce weight. The less the game has to keep track of the better.

RPGs = Win. Oh, and Liam's not alone in his pain. My saves from the non GotY edition wouldn't load. Not a big problem though as I planned to play through again anyway. Did my character maxing last time through. Hunted down all the skill books. Got all the bobbleheads. Collected most of the unique stuff. This time through I'm just playing for the fun of it and letting the stats fall where they may.

We all make mistakes, my poor absorbent semi-nudist. This is actually my three and a halfth time through the game. First playthrough I did for fun... until I found out there was a level cap and that it was only twenty! I was thinking it would be more like Oblivion had been with it's levels and I had taken the Swift Learner perk all three times, as well as Lady Killer and Child at Heart only to find that there was next to no use for them. I got ticked off and restarted. Second time through I started to gear my character a little more towards a particular archetype, but didn't bother about it too much. Just played for the (slightly muted by having to restart) fun of it. Third time I went for the trophies because they had just been added to the game. Got all the bobbleheads, made a character with max skills and optimum stats, and basically just maxed everything I could. Now I'm going back for the missing trophies and DLC.

I liked the "trip" you go on at the Point. All the alternative bobble heads...

Out of all the DLC so far, The Pitt was my favorite. I don't even know why, it was just so... epic Good story, great combat and the twist at the end was like WTF MATE?! I'm in the middle of Mothership Zeta, and I'm not too impressed. Why? Because I'm stuck in a room and I can't get out All the doors are locked and the guy I'm in there with says, "If we wait a bit, it'll recycle and the locks will unlock". Yeah, I waited a while and nothings happened yet. I'm slowly but surely getting the Trophies. I'm collecting my Bobbleheads during my Evil character's playthrough, and hopefully my Speech and Computer trophies as well. Not sure when I'm going to get Weaponsmith. Atleast with the DLC, you get all the Schematics for the weapons once you hit level 26 and grab the perk The Nuka-Cola challenge is the only quest I haven't completed (other than the DLC) and it annoys me because I can never find enough Quantums. It'll take me the whole game to find 35

Tux, important question: Do you get your stuff back? I would think so, but there have been times in games where they do very bad things like take all your stuff. @Charlie, You can also get the Quantum Chemist Perk at level 22. Every 10 Nuka-Colas you acquire are automatically converted into a Nuka-Cola Quantum. Makes Nuka-Grenades a more attractive weapon choice, but also helps with the Challenge quest.

| Just started the main game again on Tuesday.
LVL 8 Went for high agility, intelligence and perception.
Have high medicine, lockpick, small guns, explosives and sneak.
And I have two fat mans at home for when I hit the higher levels and go behemoth hunting.
Have no DLC as my money situation is tighter than a G-string at a convent. |
