| Why do you think I stopped playing after I finished the main story? The bare minimum number of Adamantoise I would have to have killed was astronomical. And that's assuming each one dropped an Ingot, which was about 25% of the time. |

| I love how the game goes from no grinding at all to CONSTANT MEGA GRINDING all of a sudden.
And by "love," I mean "hate so much that it put me off the game." |

| Heres hoping that 13-2 and Vs. 13 aren't grind fests. |

| Versus XIII is supposed to be real-time, right?
If so, I'll have a much higher tolerance for grinding there. Although none at all is still preferable. |

| Grinding shouldn't be necessary IMO. I'm ok if you get to a spot and the boss is really challenging so going up a level or two helps get over that hump. But I feel that so long as you dont run from battles and fight them as they come, you should be able to get through the game with little to no grinding. Boss' can still be challenging without having to grind like nuts.
Old school RPGs did this fairly well. |

| Amen, bud.
After the step in the wrong direction that was XIII's "innovation" I would love nothing more than to have another FF more like the classic ones. There were flaws there too, of course, but they got so much more right than the newer ones did. |

| I was debating wheter to play through this again. Took me a whole second to say no. This in one Final Fantasy that I am not all that gone on. And I've played 10-2. Twice. |

| That aside, it really was a fun game. I very much enjoyed the mix of real time and ATB combat. Much more so than anything 12 or 13 did. |

| The boss fights were the best part of this game, especially since they were as much puzzles as battles. |

| Yeah, but woe unto you if you didn't happen to have the right setup of characters or decks in your party. You couldn't change out if you needed what you didn't bring in, and there was no way to predict what exactly you'd need for a given enemy. Very annoying. |

| True, but that can be said of any sort of in-combat puzzle. |

| The laser lens on mine (or some other such thing that has to do with reading discs) has long since burned out. I suppose I should look into getting a new one, but at the same time, I don't want it to come at the expense of the new games I'm going to want this year. |

| Then you are allowed an extension until the Spring of next year. It's going to be a great fall gaming season, and FFX understands that. It'll wait. It's cool like that. |
