I would REALLY love to see main characters at a higher average age. I really would. Not because I can't stand the youg'uns. But teen's aren't the ONLY one's qualified to save the world. in fact, older characters have much more history since they're older.

How about a story the revolves around a 29 year old captain who is in disgrace but gets caught up in a nefarious plot that only he a some others loyal to him can see and deal with. Like just have the main characters like 23 + to 30 at least. They're still young, just not stupid young so that its hard to believe this tweener is pickiung up a sword the size of his or her body.

Oh, and one thing I've heard, but not tried myself is moving the battle speed down to Slow. It's supposed to slow the Doom counter or something.
I'm not sure if you do yet, but if you have a Belladonna Wand for Vanille, then equip it as it has the special Improved Debuffing ability.
If you don't have any shrouds, then remember that they can drop from any fight, and that having lower battle scores actually increases the chances of getting one.

Someone I know is claiming that Sazh is a pedophile. How do I enlighten them of their error without cloving their brains open with a crowbar-mounted sniperscope?

Also I did pretty much everything those guys said, cept for what you said... Your the only one that gives the good advice, Equip auto shell and protect items, Doy!

Here's a tip though. Don't sell/dismantle anything if you can avoid it, other than the few components that say "can be sold for a premium". Particularly the elemental rings.
Also, you may be able to buy another wand from one of the shops. Can't recall if that one's unlocked yet or not though.
