| I tried Thermal on my FAL once, thinking it would be a definite advantage to be able to see heat-sigs.... It wasn't. It was pants. |

| That reminds me that I did try a thermal on an ACR (?) once. I don't know what the term it was pants means but it was pants. |

| I tried putting the thermal on the FAMAS, but it was utterly ineffective between mid-short and mid-long. Even at longer ranges, it was meh. |

| Don't worry Monkey, I'm not offended by them, nor am I going to take what they said personally. I found it funny, and also sad that they were making fun of me just because of my voice on the mic. My voice is deeper than it sounds over a headset or the phone to be honest. Those guys need to grow up, because even if I was gay then it doesn't really change who I am you know? Including Dingo (who is indeed awesome, I agree) I do have a few good friends who happen to be gay. Doesn't make me think any less of them though, because they're good people. I think that people these days just need to be more tolerant and respectful of others. Of course I don't mean everyone, all you guys here are a nice, open minded group. Anyway back to topic I did have fun playing with everyone last night.
When she's old enough Jon im sure Julia will know how important Call of Duty time is, especially coming from a gaming household lol. |

| There goes Dingo pretending like he plays MW2 again. I too tried thermal on other guns and again I might as well have just killed myself. Would have been less embarassing. I don't know Street, Leo got to hear first hand the wrath of Julia. I've got a lot of work to do with her. |

| Ah, I remember hearing her making noise off in the background while we were playing last night. I'm sure she'll come around eventually.
Looking back now from where I am in MW 2 I found a few guns that I can't believe that I hardly ever touched before my first (and quite possibly only) Prestige. The ones that come to mind now are the SPAS, UMP 45, and the M93 Raffica. The UMP 45 and SPAS I started using right after I prestiged, but I never really used the Raffica before. I must say I am quite impressed! With Stopping Power on I apparently can down a guy with a single burst if he's in rather close proximity. The recoil isn't too bad, and it doesn't piss ammo and take an entire clip to kill a guy (like the TMP, which I do like, however only with Scavenger Pro on). Since it looks like the Matilda from Resident Evil 4 that's what I refer to it as lol. |

these 3 guns are very good with thermal, just to make it look better. do it with digital camo and HBS. @Street: Before i prestiged all i mainly used was the raffica, and it is a good gun. even with akimbo i remember i killed people at long ranges. -fail post- |

| I got on okay with Thermal in the snow based levels with the SCAR. Worked okay for me. But because I suck at sniping I went back to the M4 for snow based levels. Works out pretty good for me. |

| I read a tip that you shouldn't use thermal on snow based levels as the white player doesn't contrast with the white background. I still use it as I find it easier to pick out players hiding in windows which is where I get most of my sniper kills. Also, a lot of snipers use the anti-thermal perk (sorry, name escapes me) so they show up well against the snow to aid in my sniper v sniper duels Thermal scopes on other weapon systems that I have tried are pants. Instead of a steady sight picture you get a moving one. WTF is that about? |

| Lot of people seem to use cold blooded on the snow levels (or did) making them stand out more. |

That may be the truth! May have to go back and try again. Saying that, I used to be in love with the ACOG sight, but now prefer the RDS for quicker aiming and I recall the Thermal is simmilar to the ACOG in it's magnification? Trust me porky, Thermal on snipers is the shizzle. I either use Thermal + HBS or Thermal + FMJ Not sure why I use FMJ as I don't see the benefit, I just want the extended mags (and I have never run out of ammo with a sniper yet so not sure why I want the extended mags?). Even on weapons I have unlocked the extended mags I rarely equip them, except on the machine pistols (Extended mags +/- RDS depending on perk). |

| EMP, AC130, Chopper gunner and Stealth bomber in 1 emergency airdrop tonight. 24-1 and me was loling at the guys shooting at me big birds. Me also foundout you can blow up the rockets before they hit the AC130 or Chopper gunner just by shooting like crazy at rockets. |

| I didn't know you could blow up the Stingers and such by shooting at them with the AC130 or Chopper Gunner. Next time I get one I'm gonna have to try that. If I wasn't working almost every night this week I'd be on trying to get my Akimbo Matilda's. Can't wait to get that. |
